Your host, Meri DeLorenzo Howard, is an American who spends time in Italy every year and speaks Italian. She will take care of the details of your trip so you can relax and thoroughly enjoy yourself.

Our hub is a four-story palazzo just 30 minutes from the Milano Malpensa airport centrally located for excursions to Lombardia, Piemonte and Liguria. By being a guest in our home, you will experience the comfort of a newly remodeled house with its century old charm around the corner from an Eleventh Century church.

In front of the house is our own large private garden courtyard where we will relax on sunny days. Across the street from the house is a park where children play and a beautiful river canal with a view of Monte Rosa, the second tallest peak in the Alps.

Everything in the community is within walking distance, whether you need the post office, a bakery, a bank, an ATM, a supermarket, or tabaccaio.

All of our tours are a week long starting on Friday. On Saturday morning we purchase fresh fruit, vegetables and other food products for your stay with us at the Farmers Market on the street in front of our house.

We have our own small comfortable van that we use to transport you to the various destinations.

We will prepare many of our meals at the house. Your host, Meri DeLorenzo Howard is a gourmet cook with many years as an Italian cooking instructor. You can learn about regional cuisine by watching her prepare the meals. We will also take you to restaurants in the area that are known for their local specialties.

Our home is in the middle of the best wine country in Italy. As a result, if you choose, you will get the opportunity to taste these wines that are extremely expensive if available in the United States.
