All tours begin and end on Friday from Milano Malpensa Airport. Because our tours are scheduled with activities every single day, we will not be able to pick you up from the airport any other day. If your plans deviate from our schedule, there is a rail station two blocks from our house that will connect you to any place in Italy or the rest of Europe. There is a train from Milano Malpensa Airport to downtown Milan. If you have a late arrival, you can reach the house by rail from Milan.

All tours will be conducted in English. You will be expected to be on time and stay with the group unless given free time. The tour leader will have a cell phone with her at all times in case you need to contact her.

There is no smoking in the house or in the van. You may smoke in the garden area and outside on the tours if it doesn't bother anyone.

You may be staying on the second floor or third floor at the house or you may choose to sleep in the 4th floor loft. There is no elevator in the house and you will need to use the stairs. We will be walking on all of the tours and it will be important that you are in reasonable shape. We will not be able to accommodate wheel chairs.

The tours are designed for adults or mature teenagers who will stay with the group and show interest in the places visited. The wine tour is for adults only.

If you have young children but would like to visit this area, I recommend that you rent the house when we are not using it for tours and explore the area on your own. I can give you some suggestions. It is a pleasant safe area for children with a playground across the street.

Because the tours are small and we are depending on everyone who signs up to go on the tour, tour funds are non-refundable. To compensate you in case you sign up for the tour but must cancel, we highly recommend travel cancellation insurance which we can arrange for you. You will be compensated fully, however, if we must cancel and cannot place you in another tour.
